Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.2% in February 2–Monday

MOSCOW, Feb 10 (PRIME) -- Russia’s inflation amounted to 0.2% from February 2 through Monday and reached 0.9% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.

The sugar prices decreased by 0.4%, the sunflower seed oil prices remained unchanged. The egg prices grew by 0.6%, wheat flour prices by 0.3%, bread by 0.1%, rice by 0.1%, buckwheat by 0.1%, millet prices remained unchanged.

The vodka price grew 0.2%.

Fruit and vegetable prices rose by 1.9% on average in the period. Tomato prices rose 2.5%, cucumber prices jumped 6%, potato prices rose 2.2%, cabbage prices by 0.9%, onion prices by 1%, carrot prices by 1.7%, and apple prices by 0.6%.

Automobile gasoline prices rose 0.3% and diesel fuel prices increased 0.1%.
